This is good Cabernet. It hits the mark, lands in the sweet spot, and is very easy on the hip pocket. Well done by the team at Hesketh.
Give it some time to breathe and you're in front. For the money, it's good going with a quick decant.
Varietal in every sense, blackberries and black currants drive this with an array of spices that spray through the mouth like shrapnel. Some warmth hitches a ride and there is a respectable length. Campfires and even golden hour at the caravan park as you sip a glass critiquing the new arrivals and their ability to reverse park.
Drink to five years.
